Who am I?
Well, I am Melanie Wright, of course!
I was born and have spent most of my life in Ft. Wayne, IN (USA).
I graduated from Bethel College (Mishawaka, IN) in 2003 with a B.A. in English writing and in American Sign Language/English interpreting.
Since 2004 I have been involved in mission work in Haiti. In 2005 I spent 6 months at Mission of Hope, teaching English at the Hope House orphanage. Last fall (2007) I was in Jeremie for a couple of weeks, and another month at HIS Home for Children in Port-au-Prince. When I was not living in Haiti I was working at a preschool in Ft. Wayne and taking week-long mission trips to Haiti with my church whenever possible. Then this year I found a position with God’s Littlest Angels in the mountains above Petionville, and I have been living here since April 30. I am the update coordinator, which means that I take pictures of all the kids and send out monthly updates to the families that are adopting these children. It is a lot of fun and I get to spend my days with some of the cutest, most amazing little kids! I have a great life!
So that’s me for now. If there’s anything else you want to know, just leave a comment and let me know!
Melanie! I saw a link to your website on Mike From’s website, and thought I’d bop over and say hi.
Hi!
I hope life is good for you! I linked my own website to this message, so feel free to come on over!
God bless!

Dear Melanie,
Use to go to
the Chapel & am a friend of your Mothers & Linda Krieg. Just finished reading your emails & thoroughly enjoyed your adventures, taking pictures & going up the Mt. to visit the church. Thanks for serving the Lord with GLA. I have been supporting my little Haitian girl at MOH for six years now & love getting the progress reports & pictures every so often. Keep up the good work. Praise God for his beautiful creation. IN CHRIST< Terry W.
